Application
softwall hose used to cool and protect high voltage electrical cables in steel mills, glass works, electric furnaces and in all applications where a hose must be resistant to radiant heat and splashes of white-hot metal.
Temperature
from -40°C (-40°F) to +80°C (+176°F).
Construction
Tube: black, smooth, insulating NR/BR rubber.
Reinforcement:
Cover: black, smooth (wrapped finish), CR rubber, heat resistant and flame retardant.
Reinforcement:
high strength synthetic cord plus heat resistant nomex® fabric.
Cover: black, smooth (wrapped finish), CR rubber, heat resistant and flame retardant.
Branding: continuous blue stripe “IVG Cable (family logo)...”.

2.Different working pressures.- For this type of application, there are also other hoses available with different structures and specific rubber. Contact IVG to identify the correct product which may bestsuits the required application.
