Tailor-Made Projects: CoolBESS hoses for energy storage systems
We are presenting a special project that reflects our expertise in designing tailor-made solutions. At IVG Colbachini, customization has always been one of our main strengths.
Our CoolBESS hoses have been developed for the cooling of BESS - Battery Energy Storage Systems, plants designed to store electricity in long-life rechargeable batteries. BESS are used in critical environments, where high energy availability is required for extended periods: hospitals, mines, food industries, data centers, and many other strategic applications.
CoolBESS hoses are installed inside containers or other modules, in a range of diameters and lengths. These components must ensure maximum operational reliability, playing a key role in system cooling, while respecting strict manufacturing tolerances and using silicone-free anti-adhesives to maintain high purity standards.
For this application, the hoses are available either in the softwall version for discharge operations or with a steel helix wire to withstand suction. They are made with special rubber compounds. Good bending radii and pressure resistance further confirm the outstanding performance of our products.
